چکیده
In this work, we studied the structural features of La1.9Ca0.1NiO4.11, which is considered a promising cathode material for intermediate temperature solid-oxide fuel cells (IT-SOFC). The effect different pretreatments on characteristics sample was using X-ray diffraction (XRD) and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) in order to elucidate origin peculiar change lattice parameters observed earlier during situ XRD studies. studies have shown that anisotropic broadening reflections with high Miller index l appears after tempering quenched (from 1100 °C) at 250 °C. This too low release/incorporation oxygen into structure but sufficient migration inside structure. HRTEM assisted us revealing differences defect pretreatments. Based obtained results, following possible explanation proposed. Observed additional microstrains non-oriented planar defects as well decrease coherent scattering region size [00l] direction are caused by non-homogeneous redistribution interstitial tempering.

THE DEFORMATION BEHAVIOR OF AZ31 MAGNESIUM ALLOY AT ELEVATED TEMPERATURES
AZ31 magnesium alloy is considered as a promising alloy in various applications and industries. Furthermore, to design a proper hot working process (rolling, forging and extrusion), the assessment of hot working behaviour of the alloy is necessary. Accordingly, the hot deformation behaviour of AZ31 alloy was studied through hot compression testing method This was carried out in a wide range of ...
متن کاملDeposition - mode ice nucleation reexamined at temperatures below 200
The environmental chamber of a molecular beam apparatus is used to study deposition nucleation of ice on graphite, alcohols and acetic and nitric acids at temperatures between 155 and 200 K. The critical supersaturations necessary to spontaneously nucleate water ice on six different substrate materials are observed to occur at higher supersaturations than are theoretically predicted. This contr...
متن کاملThe Effect of Geometrical Parameters of Cylindrical Composite Lattice Structures on Buckling Behavior
Due to their light weights and high load carrying capacities, composite structures are widely used in various industrial applications especially in aerospace industry. Stiffening ribs are the main features of lattice type composite structures. Strength to weight ratio is known to be as one of the most critical design parameter in these structures. In this study, the effect of some parameters su...
متن کاملThe Ballistic Behavior of High Strength, Low Alloy-100 Steel at Sub-zero Temperatures
The ballistic response of the high strength, low alloy (HSLA-100) steel at ambient and temperatures of -400°C, -800°C and -1960°C is investigated in this work. Lambert-jonas equation is used to fit the experimental results into a curve. The effect of quenching on ballistic behavior of HSLA-100 is also studied. The experiments are conducted on 3mm thick rectangular specimens impacted by blunt ti...
متن کاملBehavior of Calcium Sulfate at High Temperatures
Differential heating curves were used to study the behavior of calcium sulfate at high temperatures. After cooling, the material was examined by means of the petrographic microscope and by study of its X-ray pattern. It was found that the beta-to-alpha transition of calcium sulfate occurs at approximately 1,214° C, and the conclusion of i ts discoverer that the high temperature form is unstable...
